One week left to wait for the College Football Season to start again!
I am a Utah fan. I have a couple other teams that I also like, but first and foremost, I love the University of Utah Football Team. That being said, I don't actually hate BYU, as many people think every Utah fan must do. I am not a BYU fan, but I like to see them do well, and I take no pleasure in any problems their team may have. However, I really don't like those diehard BYU fans that just never seem to stop running their mouths (Max Hall, I'm talking about you here).
This summer there has been a lot more excitement and major news than usual, with all of the moves the conferences have made, and Utah being invited to the PAC 12 next season. I am really excited for what this means for Utah Football, and I can't wait for all of the big games that Ute fans will get to see in the coming seasons. But I can't get over how bitter BYU fans are about it. I love when BYU fans say things like, "Enjoy the bottom of the PAC 12." I just want to tell them to "Enjoy third place in a mediocre-to-poor football conference," since BYU can look forward to year after year of failing to beat TCU and BSU in the Mountain West.
Get over it, BYU fans. If you had been invited to a better conference, you would have gone in a heartbeat, too. Just because you aren't wanted anywhere else, don't get mad at Utah for getting their opportunity.
Anyway, bring on the Fall, and bring on the football. Go Penn State, and GO UTES!!!
